Step farming in space

Modified step farming in space 

As i had mentioned  this word in one of the previews pages.This is nothing but just a  modification of step farming. As there is lack of space in the space station.This allows us to get more yield in less space.In this type of farming plantation is done in a rack type arrangement.In this type of plantation the plants will be comparatively smaller in size but they ware more healthier and organic than normal plants.As these plants are grow in space more of  segregation and   processing will not be required. As per the sun light is concerned, there are some led lights which give  the same effect of sun light.These led's are very small and these do not consume much of  energy.Now for the manure part  is concerned. They have to be  given organic manure  for the betterment of plant and to even maintain the fertility of the plant .The manure can be the water in which fishes stay in for a long period of time.In this water there will be the excreta on fishes and other organic materials required for the plant. In this method of plantation sowing and re-growing the plants is a tough job.Therefore we have to  cut one of the part of the plant and again let it to grow for a period of time.This could be repeated multiple times to gain more benefit in less wastage and less time.This method is called  "cut-and-come-again" method.To utilize this method we have to first select the plants which are capable of  regrowing if once cut.This method is in testing by the NASA space agency.This is one of the most efficient method way of farming in space.This is in trail for the plan of plantation on Mars.As we know that soon the human ids going to the mars for a long duration of time.
